For desktop users, my firm currently uses QuickBooks Enterprise 2018 for Windows.

I created a portable company file and sent it to the client via email, but they are telling me now that the password is not gaining them access to the file.

I did not change the password and confirmed that it still allows me to access the Enterprise file on my server so I do not believe the password is the problem.

Is there a specific process that has to be followed to create a portable company file specific for use with Macs Any advice would be helpful Thanks in Advance.

However, you can only move company files from QuickBooks Desktop Pro or Premier.
